Clicking on this button provides a pathway into SYSTEM S, a build-in link for the solution of crystal structures by providing shell access to various software packages including SHELXS, SHELXL, SIR and DIRDIF.

This pathway allows for reinvestigation of a structure for which a shelxl.cif and shelxl.fcf are supplied. (i.e. PLATON is invoked as platon shelxl.cif with shelxl.fcf accessible in the same directory.)

PLEASE NOTE:

S is not finished, there are several loose ends, more to be done for non-standard SHELXL refinement, absorption correction other than DELABS etc.

Refinement results are in: ~user/s/COMPOUND/tm/sg/shelxl. Final refinement can be taken-up from there.
